Parents and grandparents: join us for a new program, Baby and Me, in the Great Plains Room. This will be a short program that focuses on babies and caregivers, highlighting play time, music, and a short story.
Tours include a discussion of our local history, who Marquis James was, and a look at the books from the James and Bass collection. Visitors will be able to learn how to use the resources available in the room.

Create a life-size scarecrow! We will provide the lumber, hardware, head, hat, and stuffing materials. You will need to bring adult-size clothes and accessories for your scarecrow. We’re excited to partner with the Micronesian Coalition to bring this event back this year. We will celebrate the cultures of the Marshall Islands and the Chuuk. There will be traditional food, clothing, dancing, and music. All ages are welcome.
