About the 2024 Festival
The Enid Author Fest provides an opportunity for local Oklahoma authors to network and show or sell their work, and for the public to learn about the authors who are publishing right here in our neighborhood. Attendees can meet and greet some of the top writing talents in the region, listen to author panels, ask questions and even take home an autographed book. This event is free and open to the public.
Putnam Six Bookstore will also be at Enid Author Fest.
Event Highlights:
Book Signing and Selling: Authors will sign and sell books in the first-floor lobby from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
Readings: Informal readings for children, young adults, and adults will occur throughout the event.
Children's Events: All children will receive a free book upon arrival. Author readings for children will be held in the designated area from 1:00-3:00 p.m. A storybook costume contest will commence at 2:00 p.m.
Teen Events: Teens will receive a complimentary book upon entry. A teen book spine poetry contest will take place. Judging is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Following the contest, there will be a reading by a young adult author.
Adult Events: Adults will receive a book bag with goodies (while supplies last), a chance to win door prizes, and a grand prize. Each book purchased qualifies attendees for additional entries into the grand prize drawing, featuring a basket filled with gifts for book lovers.
