U.S. Citizenship Corner

In 2019 the Enid Public Library was selected for a $4,000.00 grant to set up a Citizenship Corner. This project was made possible by the Oklahoma Department of Libraries with funding from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. The Citizenship Corner is a dedicated space at the Enid Public Library that provides materials and informational resources on citizenship, the naturalization process, and other immigration-related topics.

Free U.S. Citizenship Test Prep classes are held each Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. during the school year. This class is specifically tailored for adults who have already achieved legal permanent residency in the United States and are working toward becoming naturalized citizens. The class covers key topics such as U.S. history, government, and civics. Generously sponsored by Friends of the Library, this program reflects their commitment to fostering community growth and supporting lifelong learning.
