NEW: Parental Consent Cards for Youth Events
Do you have a youth who attends library programs? Beginning January 2023, all youth under the age of 18 will need to have parental consent to attend Enid Public Library programs.
How It Works
- For youth ages 12-18
- All youth ages 12-18 will need to present a Parental Consent Card to attend a library program. Parents who fill out the card may either designate a specific event or grant blanket permission for all library events.
- For Children Under 12
- Children under 12 must be supervised at all times by a caregiver while in the library. Children attending a program with their caregiver is considered consent, and you do not need to show a Parental Consent Card.
As a reminder, parents are always welcome to attend the library with their teen.
How Do I Get a Card?
Parents or guardians will receive a card when signing up any youth for a library card. Previous library cardholders will need to stop by the first-floor service desk or request a card through Curbside Pickup. Program Librarians will also be handing out cards at events leading up to January.
