Open Makerspace
The library received two separate grants that enabled us to create a makerspace in our library. It contains many different types of tools and kits to assist our patrons in making various projects. We have sewing machines, wood working tools, soldering irons, circuitry kits, graphic design tablets, iPads, laptop computers, a cricut and other tools. We also have Lego Mindstorms and Wedos, Ollie, Sphero, Ozobots, Osmo, Dot and Dash for robotics and coding.
The makerspace which is located in the northwest corner of the library, will have times available by appointment for patrons to use our tools to work on their own projects. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Call 616-7182 to set up a time to use the makerspace.
