The American Kitefliers Association and Kites in the Sky donated supplies for a special all ages craft drop-in to build kites that really fly! The materials will be available in the youth department following the event, while supplies last.

SAIL: Staying Active

Staying Active and Independent for Life (SAIL) is a fitness program for older adults, which can be done sitting or standing. Performing exercise that improves strength, balance, and fitness is critical for staying active and reducing the risk of falls. This class meets twice a week on Wednesday and Friday.

Marquis James Room Tour

Tours include a discussion of our local history, who Marquis James was, and a look at the books from the James and Bass collection. Visitors will be able to learn how to use the resources available in the room.

Baby & Me

Parents and grandparents: join us for a new program, Baby and Me, in the Great Plains Room. This is a short program that focuses on babies and caregivers, with play time, music, and a short story. Older siblings are welcome; we’ll have a table where siblings can draw and color.
