Calling all crafters! Bring your stitchery projects to the library most Fridays and stitch with us. For adults.
SAIL: Staying Active
Staying Active and Independent for Life (SAIL) is a fitness program for older adults, which can be done sitting or standing. Performing exercise that improves strength, balance, and fitness is critical for staying active and reducing the risk of falls. This class meets twice a week on Wednesday and Friday.
Teen/Tween Halloween Craft
Have a creepy artistic time with our Halloween themed arts and crafts!
CANCELLED-Marquis James Room Tour
Tours include a discussion of our local history, who Marquis James was, and a look at the books from the James and Bass collection. Visitors will be able to learn how to use the resources available in the room.
Baby & Me
Parents and grandparents: join us for a new program, Baby and Me, in the Great Plains Room. This is a short program that focuses on babies and caregivers, with play time, music, and a short story. Older siblings are welcome; we’ll have a table where siblings can draw and color.
Craft Drop-In
Stop by the children’s department and do a weekly craft that goes along with our Tuesday and Wednesday morning storytime. Or drop by to color and draw! Crafts are usually geared towards preschool and elementary school children. All are welcome!
Pumpking Painting (for children)
Sign up for our annual Pumpkin Painting event! Small pumpkins and paint will be provided. Just bring your children and bring them in painting clothes. Registration required.
Toddler Time
Join us for stories, music, and movement in the Children’s Department. This session is for children ages 0-36 months.
