EPL Celebrates Black History Month With a Poster Display and Contest
EPL is excited to honor Black History Month with a vibrant and educational poster display and contest that invites visitors of all ages to celebrate the contributions of Black trailblazers throughout history. Stop by the first-floor feature wall to explore a captivating exhibit featuring 50 notable figures who have shaped the world in extraordinary ways. From household names like Rosa Parks, whose bravery sparked a movement, to lesser-known but equally impactful individuals like Hiram Rhodes Revels, the first African American to serve in the U.S. Congress, this display is sure to expand your understanding and appreciation of Black history.
As you take in the exhibit, don’t forget to participate in the fun and interactive matching game. Pick up a game sheet, test your knowledge by pairing names with their achievements, and drop your completed sheet in the hopper for a chance to win a colorful EPL coffee mug. It’s a perfect opportunity to engage with history in a hands-on way while celebrating the achievements of remarkable individuals. Join us this Black History Month to learn, reflect, and be inspired!
