Celebrate the artistic legacy of Alma Thomas, a trailblazing artist whose bold, vibrant abstract style broke barriers and redefined modern art. Join us for an engaging and hands-on workshop where you’ll create your own unique clay pot design, inspired by Thomas’s striking use of color and intricate patterns.
Alma Thomas was the first African-American woman to have a solo exhibition at the Whitney Museum of American Art and a pioneer in the art world whose work continues to influence and inspire. Her innovative approach to abstraction invites us all to explore creativity in new and exciting ways.
