Enid Public Library Hosts Two Festive Visits from Santa This December
The Enid Public Library invites the community to celebrate the holiday season with two special visits from Santa Claus this month.
On Wednesday, Dec. 18, 10 a.m., children can gather around to listen to Santa read some holiday stories and meet him in person. After the story, Santa will chat with children and learn what’s on their Christmas lists. Other winter and holiday friends will also make an appearance.
In addition to meeting Santa, children will have the chance to participate in several hands-on activities. They can make their own reindeer food, decorate cookies, enjoy some holiday crafts, and take part in more festive fun.
Santa returns to the library on Monday, Dec. 23, 2 p.m. Families are invited to meet Santa once more, hear stories, share the holiday cheer, and take part in the day’s activities.
“We love Santa. You love libraries,” said Deputy Library Director Darryl Woods. “What a perfect combination! So come on down and enjoy the fun.”
Both events are free and open to the public. For more information on upcoming events, visit enid.okpls.org or contact the library at 580-234-6313 or publiclibrary@enid.org.
