Enid Public Library to Host Free Investing 101 Class
December 31, 2025
The Enid Public Library invites adults in the community to build confidence with personal finance at Investing 101, a free, beginner-friendly class taking place Saturday, January 10 at 2:00 p.m.
The session will be hosted by Nicole Dirks, Associate Financial Advisor at KH Financial, and is designed for anyone who wants to better understand the basics of investing. No prior experience required.
During the presentation, Dirks will explore why investing is an important part of long-term financial health, including a brief discussion on inflation and purchasing power. Attendees will also learn about common types of investments, such as stocks, bonds, and mutual funds, as well as the power of compounding and how growing money over time can help support future goals.
“Investing is the art of turning discipline today into freedom tomorrow,” said Dirks. “To invest is to give your future self the freedom to choose.”
Library staff say the program aligns with Enid Public Library’s mission to provide accessible learning opportunities for the community.
“Enid Public Library is excited to offer free opportunities that can help our community members learn lifelong skills and help set them up for a better tomorrow,” said Library Program Coordinator Haley Williams.
Investing 101 is open to adults and free to attend. For information contact the library at 580-234-6313 or visit enid.okpls.org.
