Enid Public Library to host Canning
& Preserving Class

The Enid Public Library will host a Canning & Preserving Class at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19.
The hands-on class will cover the basics of food preservation and canning using the hot water bath method. Attendees will have the opportunity to can their own pickles to take home.
The program will also include a nutrition presentation in partnership with Oklahoma State University.
Those planning to attend are asked to register in advance so the library can ensure there are enough supplies for everyone.
