Enid Public Library Expands Tobacco-Free Policy to Entire Library Property
June 18, 2026
The Enid Public Library has updated its policy to prohibit all forms of smoking, vaping and tobacco use anywhere on library property.
The new policy expands existing conduct rules that already prohibit drugs, alcohol and weapons on library grounds. Those restrictions remain unchanged.
The change is intended to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for all community members who use the library's facilities and grounds.
Visitors are encouraged to review the library's policies and comply with them while visiting the library.
