Enid Public Library offers school supplies and resources
August 11, 2026
Students and families are invited to kick off the new school year at the Enid Public Library's Back to School Bonanza, a fun, interactive event showcasing the many free resources and services available through the library. The event will take place Saturday, August 15, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Visitors will explore stations throughout the library, completing activities and collecting stamps on a punch card. Once the card is filled, participants can redeem it for free school supplies while supplies last. Along the way, they'll discover everything such as children's activities, the Bert Clampitt STEAM Lab, research databases, movies, and other library resources designed to support learning all year long.
Activities include checking the status of a library card or signing up for a new one, creating a custom button in the STEAM Lab, asking a reference librarian a question, and more.
"Empowering student success is central to the library's mission," said Library Director Theri Ray. "Andrew Carnegie's belief in the power of education inspired his support for free public libraries, including the Enid Public Library. We are proud to continue that tradition by supporting you throughout your learning journey."
The Back to School Bonanza is a great opportunity for families to explore the library, connect with staff and discover tools that can help students succeed both in and out of the classroom.
