About the Display
Seeing Veteran's Stories is a display that helps tell the story of our military. Over 100 items were shared by our local veterans, military personnel, and military family members for the exhibit, and the display includes photographs, tattoos, stories, and other memorabilia.
"Our veterans and military personnel are often a group we don't fully see," said Theri Ray, Teen Program and Development Coordinator and organizer of the display. "Largely, civilians are often unaware of what being a member of the armed forces means for individuals. To honor our military, [the library] would like to help tell their stories."
The exhibit will be on display in the library lobby, beginning Monday, March 29 in honor of Vietnam Veteran's Day until May 31st in celebration of Military Appreciation Month.
We appreciate each story that our community members have shared, and we thank each and every military member for their service.
