Deadline to File
Due to the storm conditions earlier in the year, the IRS issued disaster relief by moving the federal filing tax day for Oklahomans until June 15, 2021. The State of Oklahoma has also extended the state filing until June 15, 2021.
What forms does the library have?
Currently, the Enid Public Library has the Oklahoma Tax Return forms. Instruction packets are not included and may be downloaded or viewed online on the Oklahoma Tax Commission website. We are able to print instruction packets for $.10/page.
If only a tax table is needed, we will print the required page(s) for free.
Currently, the Enid Public Library has not received the paper federal tax forms for the year 2020. The forms and instructions, however, are available on IRS.gov.

Tax forms may be picked up at the customer service desk in the library lobby. We are also able to deliver forms and other paper materials through Curbside Delivery. Please call a librarian at 580-234-6313.

Filing Online: State of Oklahoma for Individuals
Eligible full-year Oklahoma residents may be able to E-file their 511 Individual Income Tax return for 2020 using the Oklahoma Taxpayer Access Point.
Click on E-file Your Income Tax Return under “Top Resources” on the Oklahoma Tax Commission website.
Filing Online: Federal for Individuals
Delays in processing paper tax returns are happening at the IRS, and they are advising taxpayers to file electronically. These options are available on the IRS website.
Credits you may be eligible for
If you didn’t receive the full Economic Impact Payment or didn’t receive it at all, you may be eligible for the Recovery Rebate Credit. Find more information on the IRS website.

Tax-Aide with AARP is available by phone and virtually:

Tax-Aide in the Oakwood Mall will be by appointment only and over the phone. They are available from February 23, 2021 to April 15, 2021. Contact them by phone at 580-749-9363. Availability hours on the AARP website are listed as: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM.
Requests are also being taken online. Request help from an AARP volunteer on the Tax Preparation Assistance webpage.
Tax and other scams don’t just happen during tax season! Be aware of scams to look out for on the IRS Tax Scams/Consumer Alerts web page. The IRS will never email, text, or contact you via social media, especially in asking for any personal or financial information.
