“Build a Better World” is the theme of Enid Public Library’s 2017 Adult Summer Reading Program. Patrons are invited to try something new this summer: at home, in the community, throughout the country, and around the globe. Read a new book, try a new craft, meet new people, and learn about new places. Registration takes place from May 1 – June 15. Programs include book talks, a coloring party, a Little Free Library build, making and donating tote bags from t-shirts for the YWCA, a Little Dresses for Africa Sew Along, and lunchtime performances of Lincoln Center Local. There are also reading challenges and activity sheets. Each completed activity sheets earns an entry into the drawing to win one of three Kindle Fires or a set of books. All programs are free of charge. For more information, call the library at 580-234-6313.
