Libraries Rock! Teens & Tweens!

The library is rocking teens this summer. Check out the activities we have planned for you.

  • Book Bucks: Sign up for summer reading and earn book bucks by turning in a book review and attending activities.
  • Minecraft Drop In: Thursdays in June and July, stop in and play Minecraft on our server or Xbox, from 10-12 AM and 1:30-3:30 PM. You do not need your own account to play.
  • Little Bits Syntesizers: Create and record your own electronic sounds and music. Friday, June 8 & 29,and July 13 at 2:00 PM.
  • Coding Camp: Build and program a robot in this 7 week activity on Thursdays at 4:00 PM. The camp will be taught by Ryan Sudlow and Isaac Bowles. Space is limited, call 616-7182 to register.
  • Magic: the Gathering: Bring your deck or use one of mine to battle it out with other Magic fans. Tuesday, June 19 and July 17.
  • Anime Club: If you love to watch Anime this is the group for you. Mondays, June 11 & 25, and July 9 & 23.
  • Drum Camp: This is an opportunity to learn and show off your percussion skills. The drummers will show off their new skills at the Talent Show on Tuesday, June 26th. Mary Dikes will be teaching this group.
  • Talent Show: Register with Karen or Gloria to spotlight your talent is our Libraries Rock Talent Show on Tuesday, June 26 at 5:30.
  • 5th Friday Concert: Join Chloe Beth and Rachael Killam in the Libraries Rock after hours concert on June 29 from 5-8.
  • Instrument Petting Zoo – Ever wondered if you could play a clarinet or a trumpet? Come try them out on Monday, July 2 at 3:00 PM.
  • Hamilton Karaoke: Hamilton sing a long fans will want to come share their skills on Monday, July 9 at 2 :00 PM.
