The Enid Public Library has been closely monitoring the high community spread of COVID-19, and in accordance with Enid Public Schools implementing distance/virtual learning for the week of November 16th, we have the following policy in place:

The library will not be having any youth in-house programming for the rest of November. All events will be offered virtually only. Any future in-library events will be re-evaluated every month.

UPDATE: Youth in-library activities will continue when Garfield County’s COVID alert level is no longer red for 2 consecutive weeks. As of 11/24, we have also suspended our InterLibrary Loan program. The program will continue in January 2021.

A mask mandate passed in the city of Enid on 12/2/2020. Due to the mask mandate, masks covering the nose and mouth are required while inside the library. The mandate is in effect until February 28, 2020.

All in-library events for adults, however, are not affected and will continue as scheduled.

The best place to find updates will be on our social media channels. You can also find a list of our virtual events and register online at

As always, we offer Curbside Delivery of holds and all of our online research tools and digital libraries are available 24/7. Please be safe. Remember to mask up, social distance, and wash your hands!
