We are so excited to welcome Doc our new therapy dog to Enid Public Library.  .  Doc loves books and children!  He will be listening to children read each Monday from 4:00-5:00.  Doc is a Great Dane that is not quite a year and a half old.  He weighs right at 100 pounds.  His paws are very large and he stands over 3 feet tall.  He loves belly scratches and ear rubs.  Don’t let his size intimidate you.  He is just a big, old loving puppy.  Doc is a great listener and would love to have you read to him.   Bring your own book or we will have a basket of books for you to choose from.  Stop by the children’s desk and sign up the day of. Reservations will begin at 3:55 that day.

Doc the Dane doesn’t belong to the Public Library, so it’s not up to us where he goes. But you are certainly welcome to ask his person when you come read to him! She comes with him every Monday, and she is just as nice as he is.
