We are aware of and monitoring the rising concerns with the COVID-19 pandemic, and providing a healthy and safe environment for our community is of the utmost importance to us. We clean, sanitize, and disinfect surfaces daily within the building. We also offer touchless hand sanitizers accessible on the first and second floors of the library. Our four restrooms—both on the first and second floor—have soap and running water, and we recently added 20 second hand-washing songs on each bathroom mirror.
We are also taking the following proactive steps and safety measures:
- All toys in the children’s department including but not limited to blocks, chessboards, iPads, puppets, and puzzles are being removed from the library’s floor to be re-sanitized and stored away.
- Our InterLibrary Loan program has been suspended through the end of April, to be reinstated May 1st, pending any new health developments.
- All homebound deliveries have been suspended through the end of April, to be reinstated May 1st, pending any new health developments.
UDPATE: All scheduled events, meetings, & programs have been CANCELLED through May 4th. Please keep checking back to our social media pages and our website at enid.okpls.org for any future cancellations and developments.
The Enid Public Library is committed to providing our community with the best service possible, and your health and safety are our top priority. We will do everything we can to keep the building open, clean, safe, and accessible for everyone.
