The Relaxed Book Club Presents: Book Talk @ the Library on Nov. 18th

The Whistling Season by Ivan Doig will be discussed at the November 18th meeting of the Relaxed Book Club at 6:00 pm.

Set in the dry Montana prairie of 1910, this coming of age story tells the tale of Oliver Milliron, a recently widowed father of three boys, who answers a newspaper ad from a widow in Minneapolis seeking employment. “Can’t Cook, but Doesn’t Bite” is the headline to her announcement and Oliver takes the bait.
