Enroll your child for summer reading today!  Elementary children will record on their reading log sheets by pages, chapters, or titles of books read.  They just need to be active readers throughout the summer.  Logs may be brought to the library once a week.  A teen volunteer will mark their sheet and give them a book buck.  For every two book bucks, a child may redeem them for a book off of the cart.  You may also choose to save them and spend them all at the end.  Each item will cost 2 book bucks.  Do you enjoy comics, cookbooks, newspapers?  Summer is a great time to read for enjoyment!  Get started today and bring your log in starting the first week of June.

Be sure to join us for the kick off on June 1st from 5-7.  There will be musical instrument making, photo ops, snow cones, face painting, and lots of fun.  At 5:30 and 6:30 children will join a drum core as we parade around the square with our newly made instruments.
